bio
Born the second of three children and raised in southern Idaho, Jaime began singing at the age of two. She began performing publicly at the age of six by singing harmony with her mother and sister. At age 13 she was singing solos at church before moving on to graduations and weddings. Her high school and college years were filled with numerous awards, scholarships and performances at community and charity events. She recorded some radio and television commercials and finally, in 1994, she won the Miss Magic Valley Crown (part of the Miss America Organization). From country girl to beauty queen was a huge adjustment for Jaime but she conducted herself with such grace and poise during her year as Miss Magic Valley that she won the hearts of the people she served and they are still some of her most devoted supporters today. She often goes back to the yearly pageants as Mistress of Ceremonies or as a guest artist. Jaime began her current music ministry in 1998 and continues to be in constant demand. To date, she has released five albums (all of which have been reprinted multiple times) and she has averaged 60-70 concerts a year. She has shared the stage with various artists including The Gaither Homecoming, Tree 63, ZOEgirl, Avalon, Michael English, and Clay Walker. She has performed the National Anthem at a Jazz-Knicks game and has appeared on national television several times. Jaime can also be heard on over 100 radio stations across the US, Guam and Puerto Rico. |
